One of the questions I get asked most often is:
“Where are you located?”
And honestly, it’s a fair question because the answer isn’t just one simple place.
The truth is, I have two places I call home — one along the Gulf Coast of Mississippi and one in the Bay Area of California. I split my time between both, depending on the season, my work schedule, and where life pulls me.
🏡 Mississippi is where I grew up. It’s where my roots are planted, where most of my family lives, and where I photographed some of my very first weddings. I still spend time there throughout the year, mainly along the Mississippi Gulf Coast and New Orleans area.
🌉 California has also become home. Specifically, the San Francisco Bay Area — a place that has challenged, inspired, and shaped me into the photographer and person I am today. It’s a chapter I never could have predicted, but one that feels just as right.
And here’s the fun part — it doesn’t stop there.
Even though I’m based between Mississippi, New Orleans, and California, I travel often for weddings.
I’ve photographed beautiful ceremonies in Virginia, celebrated love stories in South Carolina, road-tripped to Tennessee for mountain weddings, and most recently hopped a plane to Cancun for an unforgettable destination wedding adventure.
If you are wondering, “Can you photograph our wedding in [insert your dream location]?” — the answer is absolutely YES.
To sum it up:
A big portion of my year is now spent in California — my newfound home and creative love.
Although most of my months are booked and busy on the West Coast, I always find time to return to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. My only child (now a grown adult) lives there, along with many close friends and family. That place will always have a piece of my heart.
So wherever your story is unfolding, if you want me there to document it, I’ll be there with camera in hand and a full heart, ready to capture it all. 🖤 🖤
